How to recover data from SanDisk cruzer micro 8GB U3 launchpad?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I forgot my password for my SanDisk cruzer micro 8GB U3 launchpad jump drive and after entering the wrong password too many times (I really thought I remembered it) this message came up:

You have reached the maximum number of failed password attempts. For security reasons, all data and programs on your U3 device are now permanently inaccessible. You have to erase all data to continue using your U3 smart drive. Click 'Erase' button to erase all device data or click 'Cancel' to abort the launchpad and decide later

Please can somebody show a way of overriding this. I haven't yet erased any data. I can't bring myself to. Everything is on this drive, my whole life basically and stupid me never bothered to backup everything. My life literally hangs in the balance. I can't stress how important this is. If someone could even point me in the right direction i would be so grateful.

Thanks C Tech. Can anyone suggest a good recovery product especially one proven to work on U3 smart drives, please, or some way of accessing my files without erasing them?

I have come to the realization that there is no solution to this
problem. Your only hope is to let it erase the data then try and use a
recovery soft ware like SanDisk RescuePRO or Active@ File Recovery to
get back what data you can.
Thanks for all the help. Sorry a better solution couldn't be found.

You may take a try this data recovery program Wondershare Data Recovery(I eve used this program and it worked on my camera memory card). Get the program here,

Windows Data Recovery (Windows Version)
Mac Data Recovery (Mac OS version)

Take care - Before those items are recovered, stop saving more files to the USB in case the file data are overwritten!

You might try to use a recovery product that is designed to restore deleted files or files from a reformatted USB key. Search on USB Flash Drive Data Recovery in Google and find a free trial utility. A good utility will not damage your key's data in any way.
