Panasonic SA-HE9 amp / Sky+ optical

Hi, I'm using the Panasonic SA-HE9 amp and connecting from a Sky+ box optical output to the amp's optical input 1. Today the sound has stopped working in non-DD mode. Anyone have any idea if this is something I can rest or fix?
Thanks, Jeff

Is the signal connected to coaxial- a digital spdif? If you are dealing with analogue audio connect them to RCA's. Hope this will help.

I have a panasonic TX P50 C3B 50" Plasma TV and want to connect it to a SC PT470 home cinema system only I cant see that I have a fiber optic connection on the tv and no matter what i try i cant get...

If you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your Home Cinema receiver, you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV to "AUX input " or "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input" than just switch to respective mode corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the Receiver..
Take care and pls remember to rate me..If you cant succeed you can contact me for more solution..

Which optical inputs should I use for (1) audio output from hi-def cable box (connected to HDTV with component cables) and (2) audio output from DVD (connected to 3805 with component cables?

Hi, the Optical and Coaxial inputs are assignable to whichever input you need them on. Plug the Optical cables from your DVD and HD cable box into any of the OPTICAL INPUTS (1 and 2 is fine, but write down your connections on paper)

You will then need to go into the setup of the AVR on the screen and assign the OPTICAL connections to the correct inputs (Probably TV/CAB and DVD.

Use the SYSTEM SETUP button on the factory remote, and you should see the on-screen menu appear on your TV. Go to INPUT ASSIGNMENT and choose the input for the DVD and assign OPTICAL 1 or 2...

You have to manually select digital input on the receiver.

Pioneer vsa e06

depends what audio outputs you have on the sky box, analogue (two phono usually red for right channel and white left channel)in which case just use phono leads to the phono inputs,Optical(toslink),connect an optical cable from the output to the optical input on the dvd channel of the pioneer, coaxial (spdif)connect to spdif input on the laser disk input of the pioneer, dont connect to the attenuated spdif. In the unlikeley event of the sky box not having any audio outputs, just use the outputs from the tv to the pioneer. The optical digital input gives the best quality on the vsa eo6

If the sub has a volume control, turn it down then turn up the volume on the amp to the very high volume you mentioned. If it still has very low muffled sound, then we know the problem is about the amp.
