Office 2007 installs feature randomly when Outlook 2007 starts

I recently unistalled MS Office Standard 2003 and installed MS Office Ultimate 2007.

Now, when I run Outook 2007, some Office feature is installed, I get a message "Office feature is being installed", which takes about 2 minutes and then its normal. This is random but happens frequently.

It's more of a nuisance, but not normal...how can I get rid of this?

Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Seems that when this happens wheI log off/on or the system restarts - on doing a CTRL-ALT-DEL, the program that is is invoked most active is msiexec.exe (ms installer), which is all that i can see.

    Any other thoughts?

Typically, when you first try to use a feature that is not installed, the 2007 Office program installs the feature automatically.
check how to change the settings

Next time it happens do a CTRL-ALT-DEL then click on applications...the top application running should be the one causing it...without actually looking at your computer its hard to tell but all applications running or beginning to run are in that section. Once it is identified then can figure out a way to deal with it...the only other solution is to re-install.

Here is the website at Microsoft that has a utility to clean up the Windows Installer. It's just a program that is used when downloading and sometimes it doesn;t turn off, a bug in MS operating system. MS knows about it so here is the website. Good Luck
Don't forget to rate this solution.

I wish to download the free 2007 Microsoft outlook

You can visit a computer shop or dealer and buy the Office 2007 disk. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, etc are all components of MS Office. On installation you will be required to activate it online. The key will be there and you will need the disk too in future.

If you have MS Powerpoint 2007 installed on your computer, open the document with MS PowerPoint 2007 and use the save As ... menu.
Click the Yellow Globe at the top left corner of the main window. Select the Save As submenu. On the list of options select Save as PowerPoint Presentation.

Some formatting may be lost but you should be able to save most features.

Unable to install ms office 2007, upgrading from Office 2003

Hi,
please first uninstall all the existing versions of MS Office. Then try to clean temporary files, cache and registry using tools like cCleaner (freely availavle), then install MS Office.

if you want to install only MS Office 2007, no need to install MS office 2003 and upgrade. directly install MS Office 2007.

If you want to keep both, pleas install MS office 2003 first, then MS office 2007, please dont uograde it, rather select Keep both version.

Please make sure that you have admin permission before doing all this and your system is free from any virus.
Thanks
