Question about ViewSonic VP230mb 23.1" LCD Monitor
I tried for hours to get the screen to original size but my current view my screen shows my letters very small or if I try another ajustment For the screen resolution, The letters are hugh. The set lenght is so long I loose
my exit bar on the right side. I am a novice at this and really would appreciate it, if you can help that you could put it in the simplest way to correct this problem.
If you are referring to the screensize of your browser you can adjust this by pressing ctrl on the keyboard and using the wheel in your mouse. If this is about how your desktop is displayed you will need to right click on the desktop > screen resolution and adjust the dimensions.

SOURCE: the screen resolution
Your going to love this. Open control panel, open display. Click the settings tab. Click Advanced. Click the Monitor tab. Remove the check mark from "hide modes". Click the drop down menu & set it to 75 hertz. Click Apply & than ok. You are now back to the Settings window. At Screen resolution move the slide bar to more. Pick what you want. Again click Apply & than ok. Bingo there you are! Have a nice day.

you need to reboot into safe mode (hit F8 during boot up), then set the video to 640 x 480, then reboot into regular mode , then reset it again to the native resolution of this monitor, 1440 x 900 @60 Hz.
The monitor this old may also have capacitors problem, http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post post back so it may also other people also..

If you have an Auto Adjust option on your monitor, press that and it should adjust the screen to the correct size.
The button should be on the panel or it might be a setting in the monitor settings itself.
Hope that helps
