We have 1/2 HP Craftsman Garage opener. Our keyless entry won't open when using the codes but it will close when using the codes. (if the garage was already open and I need to close it on the outside, it would close. but if its already close and use the keyless entry to open the door, it wont open) Can you please help me with this?? We have checked the sensor, batteries and all was working just fine as it works from car remotes, inside control console etc.. Thank you

Sounds like your receiver which is part of the logic board has quit. The wall control is hard wired and doesn't use the receiver.

If both units were manufactured before April 2005 or both were manufactured after that date they should work. If one is older and the other newer than that date they will not work with each other.

Seems you've done everything right. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over and key in a 4 digit code and press enter. If you are sure the battery in the keypad is good then I think your keypad is on the fritz or the wrong one for that opener.

Keylees entry and remote controls do not work at the same time

There are two types of technology with this operator (rolling code and non-rolling code). This operator will except one or the other but not both. It is not uncommon for a rolling code (Security+) remote or keyless to lose the "rolling"part of its technology and become a non-rolling code device so it is not compatable with the rolling code technology. You will need to replace the one remote or keyless that is not like the others.

Sears Wireless keypad will close door but will not open

If you are sure the battery is good than it sound like the keypad is bad and needs to be replaced. With a 6+ year old operator I would suggest a wired keyless entry (Donino GD-1) so if the operator has to be replaced you can use the same keyless entry.
