It sounds like your cabling is not right. Are you running wireless connectivity - if not, then make sure that the cable goes from the router into the PC & make sure they are pushed in well

What do you mean, "It say?" Do you mean there are flashing lights notifying you of an error or is there an error appearing in Windows?

With the router hooked up getting on the internet is slow. hooked to cable one direct it's o.k.

Your Wireless speed is all down to the quality of the router and wireless card, and where you are in relation to the router.
Hooking up direct is always going to be faster.
You could experiment with the position of the router in the room.
Check your speeds wired and wireless, use www.speedtest.net.
You could buy a better antenna for the router

Lose internet connection (hughes net) when hooking up router

I would contact your hughes net, that is a satelite provider. That is a total different system, than dsl or cable. Hughes net should be able to walk you through the setup.

Router will not connect with on demand direct tv

I had the same problem. I fixed everthing by updating the router's driver. Try that and see if it works.

Software won't install, keeps getting a #322 error.

Hi -

Reset you Linksys to factory default,
press and hold the reset button for a few seconds, at the rear.

Then, connect via a cable (NOT WIRELESS, use your perent computer) and set your security again.
Remember admin password :-)
then set the security on your other computer with the same as the router

Then, I recommend downloading the latest firmware and install that.
Download the latest firmware from here:
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Download_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1115417109974&packedargs=sku%3D1121874580098&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper
Need additional help write a comment, and I´ll be back :-)
Other vice, vote "FixYa" if this was sufficient.
