Soda droped on my keyboard and made it hard to type. How can I clean it?

Remove the keycaps
Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry up each key. It should pop off easily. Do not remove the spacebar or large keys such as <Shift>, <Enter>, or <Tab>. Putting those back on can be difficult.

Go after the stubborn dirt

Replace the keycaps.

Carefully snap each keycap back on. Make sure each one works freely as you proceed. Plug in the keyboard, and test all the keys when finished.

The number six button has popped off my laptop key pad, how do i put it back on ? literally the number six number button has come off and i cant pop it back on on the digits parts of my laptop

Generally, if the key will not just snap back on to the keyboard, then there is a mechanical failure of the keyboard and a replacement keyboard will need to be installed. If the system is under warranty, contact technical support for the system (Dell 800-624-9896 USA) if not, most keyboards are user replaceable and replacements are generally under $20 on Ebay
If you post the Brand and model system I might be able to give more detailed answer

How to replace keyboard dell 1558

Relativily easy, Pry out the black bezel that surrond that keyboard pad. Open the Lcd screen all the way, slide your finger between the gap where the dell logo on the screen and the front of the bezel on the laptop. There is a slight gap there and you want to tryint to power that open. Then slowly pry and pop the connection around the bezel until the bezel come off. You will see 3 screws that hold the keyboard that located on top of the keyboard, unscrew those and then slowly lift the keyboard up from top to bottom. There is a cable connection under the keypad and you want to disconnect this cable by lifting the flap that hold the end of the cable on the mothboard. Then after that, take your keyboard out and replace with the new one and install the cable and close the flap, Installation is the reversal. Hope this help. there are also youtube video of this if you want a visual of it, maybe not the same model but close.

Samsung q210 keyboard not working

There is a small ribbon cable that will pop out real easy when you open it up. There are actually 2, one for the keyboard and one for the touchpad. This can be a little difficult to put back in the slot and close the laptop back up without it popping out again as the cable is not very long. If you have a lot of patience, you should be able to get it. Just take your time and remember to close the lock on the connector where the ribbon cable slides in.

Keyboard don-t show the correct symbols

Your keyboard setting in Control panel regional and language options is probably set to US International.
This option allow you to create every special character using combined keys see this page for MS instruction>
If you have a localized keybord (Portuguise, Brazilian or else) you can get the symbol corresponding with keys if you configure the exact keyboard instead of US international.
Of course for same language you can configure multiple keybord.
You can also use for every language the On screen Keyboard you get in Start/program/accessories/ accessibility

How do you repair a keyboard button that has popped off

http://www.isoretail.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=13N9988 Is where you can buy a new keyboard. It's 22 dollars, I'd suggest that. Unless you have a way to press the key back in the slot you're done. You can burn a ton of time when the part's not that expensive. (yes you can replace it yourself)

Gateway 4530 keyboard replacement

You don't have to take off the bottom.
You need to take off the panel right in front of the screen

1. Pop off the strip in front of the keyboard.
2. Unscrew the 3 screws.
3. pop off the panel that has the startup button on it.
4. Take the keyboard and put in the replacement.
5. To put it back together.

Acer 3500 keyboard

Let me start from the top.

1: removing the keyboard: as near as I can tell, at the top of your keyboard is power button etc,.. this cover can be removed.
once removed, there are at least 3 screws under it, once those are out there are 2 more on the bottom. NOTE:
could be that like on my Compaq and IBM the proper keys on the bottem are denoted by a small etching of a keyboard.
It may not be neccesary to remove the keyboard, so if it ain't broke.. don't fix it.
2: Fixing this keyboard is possible IF by stuck you mean they stick but otherwise work. My IBM for example ( used by
my kids on occasion ) has had sticky substances dropped onto the keyboard. I simply removed the appropriate keys,
cleaned them with alcohol and re-seated them. CAUTION: Pay attention to how they come off so you can put them back on
and be careful not to break the plastic connectors.
In closing,.. if all else fails and after cleaning and re-seating the keys dont work, buy a new one. They aren't that expensive if
you look around. I won't put a website here for an on-line store that carries them,.. but do a google search you'll find several
places.
