Limewire or internet sites dont work that well downloading. it may say they're on but they will be inaccessable. use windows media player for your downloads by dragging them onto the sync or copy list from the other window.

How do you add songs on device

Hi atiug b...
Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

How do I get the downloaded music from my computer into the clip?

You have 2 ways to transfer your songs from your computer to your sansa clip:
1. Plug sansa clip to computer, double click on "Sansa Clip ...GB", double click on "Internal Memory", you will see the file "Music", copy your songs and paste them into Music file of the device.
2. Using Windows Media Player: open windows media player, plug sansa clip into computer, click on Sync tab, select songs that you want to sync, drag and drop song selected into "Sync list" on the right side of the windows media player (you should update wmp11), then click on button Start Sync.

Good luck

Songs I have downloaded to my sansa e250 mp3 player won't play

This is a simple formatting problem, To fix itSOLUTION 1:well there isnt really a way, other than instead of using windows media player directly, you can copy it out of the disc folder (in my computer) and into your my music folder and then import it from your my music folderSOLUTION 2:You can download itunes for free, upload discs to your itunes and then make a new disc (make sure it is in mp3 format<you will see what i mean>) and the rip the disc like you normally do Hope i helped If this doesnt work the email me at dirtyfairy@live.com.aucheers

Hi my sansa shaker wont play music

The Sansa Shaker ONLY plays MP3's, I downloaded a bunch of .wma files and kept getting the uh-oh so I put on an mp3 I had a voila! it played. Bummer though. Guess I gotta figure out how to convert my music files for my daughter, or pitch this thing and buy one that will play any media file.

Sansa e260 won't let me download certain music

If you used Windows Media Player to "rip" (copy) the music to your computer. The default settings are to "copy protect my music" if you didnt change this setting, the Sansa will want a "license" to go with it. Resolution, change the setting in Windows Media Player, Tools>Options>Rip Music (uncheck copy protect my music). You can also change the default rip setting to Mp3, as opposed to Windows Media Audio. Then you would have to re-rip the tracks to your PC, as unprotected. Make sure you delete the old tracks from the device, otherwise, it will always give you that error message. Best of Luck.
