Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Before my son dropped his psp the memory stick was working fine so was the sound. now, i don't hear anything and his psp says there is no memory stick duo i put the memory stick in my older sons psp and it works fine. please help me, we just got the psp a few days ago. i've tried to clean and insert back in but still nothing.
You probably need a new memory stick module inside the PSP. I have seen this many times in my store and we replaced the board and it worked fine. Contact your local game stores to see if they do console repairs. See if there is a Play-N-Trade within your area. I work at one and we do repairs. I'm not sure if Gamestop or Gamecrazy do repairs.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
