The bad ground answer seems to be the most plausible answer. I had the same problem with my diesel 48RE transmission.

I remembered a condition with the Intrepid where the instrument cluster lights and dome light would go nuts. The solution was to pull the plug from the back of the cluster dimmer control and apply electrolytic grease.

I applied some to my Transmission Range Sensor connector and haven't had any trouble since.

1. Diesels don't use vacuum
2. Fluid level won't affect TC lockup
3. Replaced the TC lockup solenoid array which did not alleviate the condition.

UPDATE: The electrolytic paste in the plug did help for a time. However, eventually the torque converter failed about a year later and filled the transmission with metal filings :( I replaced it with a high-performance TC.

the remote uses light to send a signal to the tv. make sure there isn't anything interfering with the light signal. it could be dirty or the receiver could have dirt obstructing the light.

I presume you have lights & sound on the controller when you turn it on - fourteen quick beeps and then a different toned fifteenth beep. The screen lights (blue). Insert the battery (lettering facing up toward the helo fuselage unitl it's seated all the way - an LED inside the fuselage, visible from behind, quick flashes and then begins a slower blinking.

Once the helo battery is inserted, turn on the controller, which starts the aforementioned beeping. On the last controller beep the helo's LED will stay lighted, indicating the helo & controller are synched.

I had a problem making sure the battery was inserted all the way into the helicopter. You'll know it's inserted properly when the LED inside the helo flashes.

I haven't had to try this but here is a procedure for resetting the airbag after the battery was disconnected

In the DLC1 or DCL2 (data link connector under the hood, see attached diagram):
Use two short wires, one wire at terminal TC and a different wire at terminal AB:
With the ignition key ON - wait 6 seconds, then:
Ground terminal TC to good body ground for one second
Then ground terminal AB for one second
Then TC one second
Then AB one second
Then ground TC until the light blinks.
Make sure the interval between grounding the terminals is not more than 2 secs.
Remove the ground wires.




Be very careful to only use the correct terminals.

Hello: Remove the ducting going from the air cleaner to the throttle plate, clean the carbon off the throttle plate and the throttle body bore. Do not spray excess carb cleaner into the throttle body. Hold the throttle plate open with your hand and spray carb cleaner on a soft rag and clean off carbon. When finished key on engine off for 10 seconds key off for 10 seconds do this a total of three tines.

Try unplugging it completely for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Plug it back in. If it still won't come on, it's likely taken a power surge and popped a fuse or power supply, which means a trip to the service center.

If the subs are making a humming or RPM sound check your ground on the amp , make sure its a good ground. Always run your power wire from battery by itself down one side of vehicle. Groun should be no longer than 2 feet. If that dont help you can buy a noise supresor that goes inbetween your head unit and amp through RCA's with a ground on it . Hope this helps.
