Question about PfaFF Creative 7570
I left my Pfaff 7570 in Arizona over the summer and now my presser foot doesn't raise or lower easily. I have to mannualy push the shaft down. It will raise by the lever but it feels like there is some resistance now. It doesn't go down all the way even when I push it down. Can I put any grease on the shaft, if yes what kind. Other that that it sews just great. Please HELP!!!!

SOURCE: 7570 connection
I have Windows Vista; I also had a similar problem; found out that I could only use the usb port on my computer exclusively for sewing as the driver software seems to conflict;
Also, having said that, go to Pfaff.com & download the free driver upgrade and see if that will get you started good luck deb

I bought a 25 pin female RS-232 to USB cable from a computer repair store. It works great. You will have to install the software that comes with it so the computer will know that it is a serial port.

The plate is not screwed in, it is held tight by a couple of metal springs on each side. Just take a small regular screw driver and gently pry up the face plate. You may have the presser foot lowered by the switch on the right side of the bobbin/shuttle area slide it so the presser feet raise.
