Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
There are a lot of Windows password revealers and crackers available, but I’ve found that Windows Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password
You can use the ISO to burn a boot CD. Follow these instructions:
1. Download ISO file from http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com Windows Password Recovery Tool
2. Burn to a CD using a CD burning tool such as Nero or Roxio or MagicISO
3. Insert CD into drive and reboot.
4. You may have to select an option in the BIOS to get the computer to boot from the CD.
Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm.

For my solution, you'll need:
- access to another PC with a CD burner
- a blank CD-R
- high-speed internet access
There is a program called OPHCRACK
Download the Live CD image from here:
Use burn the downloaded image file to the blank CD-R... not the same as copying the file to the cd... you can't use windows to do it, you'll need Roxio or Nero or some other software that supports burning an ISO image.
Once that's done, take the CD to your computer that you can't remember the password for and insert it into the CD drive. Turn on the PC. Some PC's will boot from CD-ROM first, but just in case, look for an option on the boot screen that says something like "Press F10 for boot order" and select CD-ROM as the boot device.
Ophcrack will appear with a boot menu. Try the first option first. If it doesn't sucessfully boot, you may have to restart the computer and try a different option. The VESA mode almost always works for me.
Once it has sucessfully started, you will see the process begin and after a while you should see the password(s) appear on the screen. Write them down, quit ophcrack, remove the CD and boot normally.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
