Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
Two days ago I installed some routine updates for Vista. Before that both of my microphones had worked perfectly. Today a message came up saying " A recording device cannot be found", even though the microphone was plugged in. So when I went to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices, under Recording tab I read "No audio devices are installed". I have no clue what went wrong, my Realtek audio driver is up-to-date. What shall I do?
I would do a system restore. Windows probably made a backup before you installed the updates. That should take care of it. System Restore is really safe so don't be afraid of it, it's very useful.
