Question about JVC AV-27530 27" TV
Have a jvc 27" tv, 8 yrs old. Started shurring off yesterday, but could turn back on. Shut off last night, but could not turn back on. Red light blinks on front panel, and sounds like timer ticking. any ideas Please help me, I have a JVC TV model AV-27530 with a RM-C203 that has turned on the light "ON TIMER" on the front panel. What time is scheduled, I don't know but I can't turn on my tv. How can I cancel this function with the TV off?
The problem you describe is not really related to a timer function being set. The unit is in shutdown and the light is blinkng to let you know there is a problem.
There are several possible causes. the most common is a failure in the vertical deflection circuit due to a bad vertical IC and possibly a capacitor, zener diode and resistor.
