I AM HAVING SIMILAR TROUBLE. 4 SERVICE CALLS SO FAR. #1 DETERMINED A BAD DOOR LOCK. #2 PUT IT NEW DOOR LOCK, NOPE MUST BE CIRCUIT BOARD BEHIND CONTROL PANESL. #3 PUT IT BAD CIRCUIT BOARD. WORKED FOR 6 DAYS THEN BACK TO SAME THING. #4 DETERMINED TO BE BAD CIRCUIT BOARD AND MOTOR AT BOTTOM. I SAID I'D THINK ABOUT IT. PROBLEM, WON'T SPIN OUT. WAS OCCAISIONAL AT FIRST, NOW CONSTANT.
My washer is a maytag neptune and it went through all the cylcle but when it got to the spin cycle it would start to spin then go to 0 and not spin read a soution on here and it fixed the problem thank u soooo much

Re: WON'T SPIN OUT. 4 SERVICE CALLS SO FAR
Does the machine start to ramp up, stop, then tumble, and repeat this cycle during the spin cycle? If so, there is an open in the balance circuit. See the wiring diagram located in the console. The earlier Neptunes have blue wires going to the balance & inertia switches. You could have a loose wire or a flakey inertia switch. You can bypass each switch with a jumper and see if the problem goes away with that switch bypassed or you could try to use an ohmmeter with a continuity beep function and listen for breaks in the beeps when you tap on each inertia switch.
See www.neptunehelpsong.com for a cute song that explains the Q6 R11 door latch wax motor failure on all of the MAH3000, MAH4000, MAH5500A and the 2000 stackers.

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000ES, not spinning your clothes dry. First, if the drum is not spinning at all, I suggest resetting your appliance by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. Once power is restored run a spin only cycle. If it starts spinning and the clothes are still coming out damp, try one of the following:
1)Try changing the spin speed to a higher speed.
2)Make sure that you have not overloaded your washer.
3)Make sure that the wash load is not too small. If you are only washing a couple of items, try adding 1 or 2 similar items to balance the load.
4)Try rearranging the load to allow proper spinning.
5)Check the drain hose for any kinks. If it is kinked, straighten it.
If you are still having trouble with your washer spin drying, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.
Error codes? may say bad board/replace board, but don\'t. Try to refrain. The likely cause is the wax switch on the door lock mechanism. I am not a proponent of replacing a pcb because the error code says to. After all, resistors and like components are only 0.5 cents. My washer just had a similar problem, it was a $19.95 wax switch. It has a plungher wwhich pushes a set of contacts together, sends a signal to the board telling it that the door is locked and it is safe to spin. Its true. Redundant but true. I am sure it was designed with the service industry in mind. $125.00 for the service call ( just to show up), then order the board and secretly install the $19.95 part, likely get it for $4.00 and laughs all the way to the bank. Mostly I find service guys are friendly enough, but if they sense a mechanical deficciency in the customer, they take advantage
I have exp. this problem before. I know of 3 causes for it.
1. The door lock is faulty. You will need to call Sears in for this. This wasn't my prob., but I got a free door lock replacment, anyway. 2. The washer shook loose a control wire to the circuit board. This can be caused by excessive vibration. You need a special type of screwdriver to open the top by removing the 2 screws in the top corners on the back. Slide the top off, push all the wires in, JIC, then put the top back on. Easy fix. I solved not having this happen by using the high spin speed instead of the extra high speed spin. 3. The control board is faulty. Call in a service man, pay $a lot, he will order the boatd, wait 2 more weeks so he can get it, let him install it, pay $a lot, use only HE detergent, or else this will happen in about another year.
Please see the following Whirlpool / Maytag service manual for Neptune washers. https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/dc59d905140253e18525729c005765f4/$FILE/Maytag_Neptune_Washer.pdf
On page 3-1 the manual explains that if the washer shuts off during the spin cycle, the problem points to a weak spring in the door lock mechanism.
"Shuts OFF In The Middle Of The Spin Cycle: During the spin cycle, the machine control monitors the door lock mechanism to ensure the door is locked. This is done through the door lock enable switch. During "lock mode," the shaft of the door lock mechanism is pressed forward by the door lock wax motor, and the shaft presses in the button of the door lock enable switch. If the machine control board sees the switch OPEN during the spin cycle, the machine control board will automatically shut the washer OFF. This is caused by a weak spring in the door lock wax motor. Replace the complete door lock mechanism.
Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry. If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

IT IS THE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY, COST AROUND $50.00 WHICH IS FAR BETTER THAN $300.00, WHAT A SERVICE REPAIR PERSON WILL CHARGE YOU. YEA IT'S THE CRAZIEST THING IMAGINABLE, THE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY BEING THE CAUSE FOR IT TO NOT SPIN ALL THE WATER OUT. I FIXED MINE MYSELF, HAD TO TAKE IT ALL APART VERY CAREFULLY, BUT I SAVED MYSELF $250.00. YOU CAN GET THE PART ONLINE OR GO TO NEAREST APPLIANCE PARTS STORE IN YOUR CITY. ASK FOR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY. THEY WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE IT IS A VERY COMMON, I REPEAT VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS BRAND OF WASHING MACHINE.
