Re: WON'T SPIN OUT. 4 SERVICE CALLS SO FAR
Does the machine start to ramp up, stop, then tumble, and repeat this cycle during the spin cycle? If so, there is an open in the balance circuit. See the wiring diagram located in the console. The earlier Neptunes have blue wires going to the balance & inertia switches. You could have a loose wire or a flakey inertia switch. You can bypass each switch with a jumper and see if the problem goes away with that switch bypassed or you could try to use an ohmmeter with a continuity beep function and listen for breaks in the beeps when you tap on each inertia switch.
See www.neptunehelpsong.com for a cute song that explains the Q6 R11 door latch wax motor failure on all of the MAH3000, MAH4000, MAH5500A and the 2000 stackers.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000ES, not spinning your clothes dry. First, if the drum is not spinning at all, I suggest resetting your appliance by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. Once power is restored run a spin only cycle. If it starts spinning and the clothes are still coming out damp, try one of the following:
1)Try changing the spin speed to a higher speed.
2)Make sure that you have not overloaded your washer.
3)Make sure that the wash load is not too small. If you are only washing a couple of items, try adding 1 or 2 similar items to balance the load.
4)Try rearranging the load to allow proper spinning.
5)Check the drain hose for any kinks. If it is kinked, straighten it.
If you are still having trouble with your washer spin drying, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.
Error codes? may say bad board/replace board, but don\'t. Try to refrain. The likely cause is the wax switch on the door lock mechanism. I am not a proponent of replacing a pcb because the error code says to. After all, resistors and like components are only 0.5 cents. My washer just had a similar problem, it was a $19.95 wax switch. It has a plungher wwhich pushes a set of contacts together, sends a signal to the board telling it that the door is locked and it is safe to spin. Its true. Redundant but true. I am sure it was designed with the service industry in mind. $125.00 for the service call ( just to show up), then order the board and secretly install the $19.95 part, likely get it for $4.00 and laughs all the way to the bank. Mostly I find service guys are friendly enough, but if they sense a mechanical deficciency in the customer, they take advantage
This is the relevant excerpt from the troubleshooting instructions: Why is my Powerbolt 1000 unit beeping? To determine why your lock is beeping abnormally, please follow these steps:
Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.
If it does not beep, the keypad needs to be replaced (17733-1).
the unit continues to beep, the powerboard needs to be replaced

I have reviewed the on-line installation instructions for this lock, and it requires attention to detail to properly install. http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/content/BDHHI/kwikset-smartcode For instance, the first one may have not closed all the way if your door has a 2 3/4" setback instead of 2 3/8", and you did not extend the bolt and adjust the latch as shown in figure 2 of Step 1. Also, if you don't run the door handling routine properly as in Section 8, the lock won't work properly. But I believe that you are past that learning curve after the second installation, and I don't know why the backlight won't work on your new lock. I didn't see any option to enable/disable it in the instructions. So my suggestion: If the lock is otherwise working properly such that the backlighting is the only problem, I'd give a call to the Customer Service number 1-800-677-5625 and discuss it with them. They will let you know if and what the problem is, and a new lock is certainly under warranty!

you either have a bad door lock
or in most cases it's your control board
do you hear a clicking right before it gives you the code?
remove the lid.
direct in the center attached in the back is your ccu
locate the pink wires wiggle them up and down and try it again and see what happens. let me know
Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry. If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.
