Dear 1bamanana13,

Dyson recommends you have your vac serviced locally.
Look in the phone book yellow pages for a vac repair/store near you.
Dyson has a poor support site that does sell a few parts like the User Guide for $8.99! @ wow not down-loadable for free!

I wouldn't get to excited about repairs.
Maybe I can help you to fix it yourself!
What exactly is the problem?

a 6ya Repairman can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Repairman (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do you repair the on / off nozzle on polti vaporetto 2400

Not sure if you are having problems with the switch or the nozzle. If it is the switch, pull it off, look for a part number on it and call a place named Allied Electronics. They will most likely have an exact replacement for you or a crossover. If they don't it is not the end of the world. You can get just about any similar switch to work from a hardware or home improvement store. Take the switch with you when looking.

I need a manual for my Russell Hobbs 'Classic Rapide Breadmaker' please

Yes, try to call the appliance store where you bought your unit or the manufacturer of that brand name and model. They will send you an owner's manual by mail or by email. Thanks for asking.

Just need the names of the service centers in my area

Good evening,

Which brand/model do you need serviced? I'd be happy to find you one.

In general, most manufacturers list authorized servicing dealers on their website, or provide a 800 number you can contact to talk to Customer Service, which can also provide the information.

Please clarify and I will follow up. Let me know!

Go to your nearest Target, Wallmart, stores like that. Look on unit for belt TYPE. Like, U, A H.ect.. That is how you will find them listed under the manufacturers name.

Replace vacuum hose
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. You should contact the place where you purchased your vacuum, or if it is a big box store, you would need to supply us with the brand name, model # and the serial # for the vacuum and then you can contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the vacuum cleaner factory phone #, you can use the Google search site to locate the factory or manufacturer or re-send a message thru FixYa with the info and we will try to get you the information you needs to purchase a new hose.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.

Brush won't turn

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Without knowing the brand name and model #, the reason that your brush is not turning might be you may have a broken belt (always use genuine belts from the brand name manufacturer) and it needs changing, or the bearings in the brushroll are froze up and it would need new bearings or a genuine replacement brushroll. The belt change should be done every 4 to 6 months for the best cleaning, and to store the extra belts in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator. The next time you request a question, please have a brand name and model # so I can give you more accurate information.

Thanks, Don the Vac Man
