How to clean the oil stain on the keyboard ?

Are they getting the oil stain from the washing machine? If so, you need to get a tech out to inspect your washing machine. If you are putting oily clothes into the washing machine hoping it will come out, it's too late, you need to pre-wash with Shout or Tide to remove oils and grease. The more you wash and dry it the deeper the stain will set. Sounds like you need to throw those clothes away.

Try pouring in a two liter bottle of coke on wash cycle but don't let it drain instead let it sit for a few min before drain cycle... coke will break down the oil it just takes a few min, also works on rusty chrome bumpers, and ink stains in carpets.

For a stain caused by anything with an oily base (including most makeup), try Murphy's Oil Soap. It's vegetable oil based, so it can break up the oil in the makeup. Dab some on full-strength and let it soak in before washing.

replace or clean rubber insert on washer as the scum is oily and will always get on clothes when getting out clothes.the rubber is easy to clean just be careful of the barrel when wiping on the inner side of rubber.

Oil from transmission most likely finding its way inside tub. Probably time for a new washer.

Best way is the old fashioned way. Purchase some soda chrystals and pop them in ur drw. The same amount as you would normally use in detergent powder. Then put the washer on the hottest setting and wash the machine out. Do not put any clothes in the washer at the same time though. This will clean the washer it may take a couple of attempts to clean but doing this once a month will keep on top of it.

my first guess would be something ,someone placed in dryer perhaps coveralls or oily clothing.There is no place that I am aware of on a dryer where you could pick up oil leaks from ..are you sure you did not have a lint fire,the oil stains may be soot

First of all relax alright, you are in safe hands.
See every washing machine has a turbine at the bottom f the washing bowl and below that there is a motor. And there wud be a safety valve or (washer ) which basically looks like a ring made out rubber or plastic and when this ring gets outdated or torn it stops controlling the oil flow and thats the reason y ur clothes have the oil stains ,so once it is replaced you will not have this issue.

fabric softener will leave oily looking stains on certain fabric. oil stains will not wash out.i do not recommend using softener in washers it gums up everything!
