Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)

1 Answer

I have info on my new cruzer gator sandisk. I need to access it.

When I put the sandisk (2.0 Flash Drive 4GB) into the USB port on my computer, nothing happens. I am a first time user of this technology. I went to "My Computer", but the info I ultimately get is: "Insert disc into H drive". I've tried putting the flash in first and also putting it in when that message comes up, but nothing. The flash is lit up and makes a noise going in as if it's being read. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Try checking the usb ports to make sure it is not have driver problems:
1. Go to the Windows Desktop, click on the "Start" button, and then click "Run" or "Start Search" if you are using the Windows Vista operating system.
2. Type the following text into the text box: "devmgmt.msc" Click OK.
3. Select your computer when the Device Manager window opens, and then select "Action" from the options at the top of the window.
4. Choose the "Scan for hardware changes" option from the drop down menu that appears.

I have a cruzer micro 4gb sandisk peen drive but it has not detecated by my laptop so what should i do?

Actually, your laptop hasn't detected your flash drive. Please make sure all of your software on the computer is completely up to date. Next, try plugging the flash drive into a different computer to see if it shows up. If it doesn't show up on a different computer, then try formatting it. Once formatted, try again. There is a possibility that the flash drive has gone bad, but just take things one step at a time.

Connecting mp3 player to old computer without recharging outlet

To my knowledge, the only way to charge an mp3 on a computer is with a USB drive, so if the computer is so old it doesn't have USB ports, then you may want to look into buying a new computer or asking a friend to borrow theirs.

I put music on my sandisk cruzer.. Now the computer doesnt readit

I believe I'm correct in saying that your talking about two diffrent computers. the one at your house is reading from your flash drive because your computer has the approprate drivers, the one at school may not. another problem is that in some computers you can't plug devices into the front of the computer so you may need to plug the flash drive into the back of the computer.

SanDisk, 2 GB Sansa mp3 player won't charge

You MAY have a power glich. In which case, hold the power/menu botton down for 20 seconds or more, then connect it to the computer. It's best if you use a USB input that's NOT part of a Multi-USB base, as those DO cause power gliches.

Sandisk cruzer 4 gb

Depending on the type of drive you have, and whether you have lost your data, here are some references.
For data recovery (there are lots out there):
http://data-recovery-professional.com/?k=Usb%20Data%20Recovery
http://www.fast-download.info/corrupted.html
For drivers, etc., which could help:

These, of course, are aside from going to sandisk.com for assistance. A number of their products carry extended or lifetime warranties, and their customer service folks should be able to help by phone, chat or e-mail. Thanks for rating FixYa!

Dropped my sandisk cruzer micro 512MB flash drive, computer cant read it now

I have had the same issue. Sometimes static builds up and discharges into the drive. Most USB drives are made to tolerate such problems, if it's fairly new and not obviously damaged outside, send it to sandisk for a replacement under the "poor workmanship" clause.
