I have Samsung NC10 netbook and an Optima Pico Projector. the only output is via VGA. i have a VGA to composite (Red, Yellow & White) lead. when connected it cannot detect the projector. it's really frustrating!!

I have a VGA cable and have connected the red blue and green outputs into an input cord that is in the "video in" port in the projection screen. I have tried fn and f1 f2 etc. when i search on the projection screen it returns to the original cinego screen.

What type of laptop are you using? As on some laptops you have to press FN + f1,f2 etc. If you give me the type of laptop i will try and find out for you now and see if that is the problem.

We just solved a similar issue. Most likely your PC or laptop is currently set to a display resolution that is too high for the projector or is one that it cannot handle. Try setting your computer display to 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 and see if you can get the projector to work. If it does, then you can figure out the maximum display resolution you can use. Also consult your projector documentation for supported resolution modes.

For the PICO in particular, it looks like those are in general for small mobile devices (320 x 240 or less displays), and the PK102 model has native VGA (640 x 480) support with extended support for 800 x 600. You will not be able to use this on most modern computers except at the lowest resolution setting for the PC.

I want to download driver pk-101

There are no drivers needed for this unit, the usb cable is only for power charging If there is the case to be connected to a computer, the you need a vga to rca adapter like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PC-Laptop-Computer-VGA-to-RCA-AV-Signal-TV-S-Video-Converter-Box-Adapter-/221090134653?pt=US_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item3379ffba7d

Its a bad DMD chip. Seems this is a common problem with the PK-301's sadly. Mine is out of warranty and a new chip runs about $180.
