I formatted my pc. I've lost my driver/installer for AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+. the problem is it doesn't have a sound (because i've lost the driver)

I'd advise don't start thinking below E2180. As per the performance go, E2180 and AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ are almost same but E2180 runs cooler. If you are going to use dedicated graphics card, go for E2180 and if you want a CPU for Integrated Graphics go for AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ because most of the 780G/790X chip-based AMD-compatible boards offer superior IGP.

i formatted my pc. the problem now is i've lost my CD driver/installer. so, my pc is running but theres no sound because as i have said i lost the driver. where can i get or download driver/installer?thanks

from my suggestion go for intel dual core. it supports all hardwares and softwares. but AMD not. i agree that AMD is better for gaming and graphics. but i doesn't completely supports hardwares. intel is best now a days. there are many benchmark results available that intel is better than AMD.
