Question about Samsung 226BW Monitor
When the picture is dark, the screen slowly fades a bit out in contrast and the screen stars buzzing very low buzzing, but I'm able to hear it. Sounds like a coil that is not 100% fastened. When the image lights up again, the summing dissapears and the contrast is back to normal. I suspect the powersupply is starting to kick of, nd I would like to hear if anyone else has had this problem. (I have tried another display... No problem)
Click the top button on the side of the monitor to open the monitor's settings. In the "Picture" Settings, scroll down to "MagicBright" and open those settings. Chances are you have it set to "Dynamic Contrast". Switch that up to any of the other settings and then it won't try to adjust the gamma based on what is on the screen.
Hope this helps, I struggled with the same problem for quite a while until I found this setting.
