Can I ask if you have the following issues:
- Power button will not lock screen - When resetting the phone you see the apple logo for a few seconds then it resets again and goes into a loop - iPhone will turn boot when connected to a computer - when it boots up, the slide to power off screen appears - no amount of restoring fixes the issue
If so, then your issue is the power button is sticking. I fixed this last night by opening up the iPhone and cleaning out the Power button.

Sleep/Wake button will not lock or unlock iPhone

    1. To lock the phone, press the Sleep/Wake button. Note: By default, if you don't touch the screen for a minute, iPhone locks automatically.

    2. To unlock iPhone, press the Home button or the Sleep/Wake button, then slide the slider.

    3. If
that doesn't work, try turning iPhone off and on again. Press and hold
the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red
slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the
Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    4. Try to lock or unlock the phone.

still problem have u tried resetting the device like this

in Settings> General> format the device

otherwise u can change ur lock button urself like this see the video
Well if you open it you'll void your warrenty if any further problems
occur so it's best to give Apple a call and get them to sort it.

If the problem is consistent in other windows besides strictly the keyboard it is possible that the capacitive touch panel is defective or has been damaged.

This sounds like a problem with possibly 3 things. One you may not have the lcd ribbon cable fully in place. You may have purchase a faulty LCD. The main board in the phone has a short and its not getting the full connection to the screen causing only the backlight to function

WHEN I TRY TO SEE RECENT CALL HISTORY THE I PHONE 3 GS REVERTS TO THE HOME SCREEN. IS THERE ANY WAY OF RESOLVING THIS?

hello, ensure you are not clicking on the key wrongly,i would advice you put the phone off and on back to see if the problem stops.if it doesn't i would also advice you ensure you close any application you are not making use of.it could also be as a result of accumulated opening of applications. if that does not stop the problem,i would suggest you get the phone flashed by a mobile phone authorized repair engineer around you.
wish you good luck,
take care.

My iphone 4 is locked .is on 4.1 baseband 02.10.04

Unlock:

Plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say "Unlock your iPhone" or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.

Reset

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:

Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

Ok my iphone that i have has been disabled and i need help

If the iPhone is switched on I suggest you connect it to iTunes. Once it is recognised by iTunes right click the iPhone on the left pane and click backup. This will make sure you keep all of your data on your PC.
It sounds like you are going to need to take the phone to your nearest Apple store unless you feel confident enough to open the phone yourself. Does holding the power and home button at the same time reboot the phone?
Hope this helps, www.PuterCare.com

My iphone wont respond to my touch in the bottem halk

Have you tried doing a hard shut down? Hold the silver button down on the upper right corner and also the home button (center, bottom indented button) together for about 10 seconds. the phone will completly shut off. then wait about 10 seconds and hold down the upper right hand button until the apple appears on the phone then release the button and wait (20-30seconds) . Doing this usually solves all my issues with my iphone when it gets locked up like this.
