I have a Toshiba satellite 2775xDVD laptop with 64mb. of ram soldered to a mainboard. It is based on Intel 443ZXM chipset. The official Toshiba manual says that I can acquire a maximum of 192mb of ram on...

A good website to check out would be http://www.crucial.com.

On the main page you can select the maker and model of you computer and it will give you all the options for your laptop. You can even purchase the memory direct from them at a decent price.

If the manufacturer states that you can only have 192MB of RAM then that may be all that the BIOS can recognize.

Good luck!

Add memory to itronix xc 6250 pro

    Hi Friend,
I suggest that you do a virtual ram from your hard drive.
Right click on your "My computer icon",properties, advanced,in the performance section select settings and in the advanced tab, go to the Virtual memory section and press change.Change the initial size to 3000 MB and maximum size to 6000 MB.This should do the work.

    Have a nice day

    Memory problem

you may have purchased a memory stick that requires more speed than your memory block can give. the speed for this lap top should be around 455-500 MHz on the memory block. if the memory stick requires more than that, its not going to work.

    Need more video and memory.

Very few laptops allow you to change the video, it is integrated (built in) to the motherboard. All computers also have a maximum limit to the memory capacity based on the number of slots and the type and size of memory modules supported by the CPU.

The Acer Aspire 3624WXCi was a budget system with a Celeron 1.6GHz processor. The Celeron series is just not that good at video tasks, such as your flight simulator demands. The integrated video is an Intel Media Graphics Accelerator 900 with 128MB ram, not bad but not optimum for your applications.

The Acer Aspire 3620 series uses DDR2 memory and has two slots. Each memory slot can hold a maximum of 1GB, so the system is limited to 2GB of ram. If you are at this limit, it is true that you can not add more but must move onwards and upwards to a newer more powerful system.

Is there more than one memory slot on a toshiba 4080 xcdt?

check your manual on the maximum amount of memory your motherboard can handle. 192mb is rather very small. check online for your computers specs.
