Turn off while running and then turn back on again, causes electrical control circuit system was malfunctioning due to overload relay trip off and then this will trigger on when the load was cold setting the unit run again.Overload tripping off due to there's a high current flowing in the circuit w/c is higher than the rated current specified in the unit.Several factors may be consider the head unit is developing hi pressure that causes electrical circuit malfunction.or the thermostat is defective or some thermostatic valve is mulfunctioning.

The operation and timer lights on my Fujitsu split system are flashing on and off several times when the unit is switched off I noticed this after the system had stopped blowing air & I knew the room...

I have same problem like yours to my newly installed Fujitsu multi-split system (the first time use since system installed 1 week ago). I rang the electrician who did the installation; he said it must be the units themselves nothing to do with electricity.

Okay, then I rang Fujitsu and their local service agent. They suggested me to switch off C/B for an hour to reset the units. I followed the instruction but the indoor units still did not respond to remote control...

It simply looks like no power supply to indoor units (they are hard-wired to the outdoor unit). So I used a multi-meter to test the power terminals of indoor units (Danger! If you have no idea about this, don't even try! ): it seemed no power supply even C/B is on. I turned to the isolator which next to the outdoor unit. The isolator was making arcing noise when I switched it on and off. The indoor units suddenly turned on for few minutes then died again.

So I figured out the problem is that crooked isolator. I called the unhappy electrician to replace the isolator. End story....

I hope my experience will help you a little bit.

Split System Compressor come on for only 15 minutes each time the system is turned on. What is the cause?

Hi, Its really hard to to tell what is going on without being on site but, Sounds Like the outdoor condensing unit may be going off on high head pressure. What you can try which could stop this problem, is to turn the power off to the outdoor unit. Get a water hose and nozzle and start washing out the coil on unit.If I were there, I could put my manifold gauges on it and tell right away.Anyway, wash it very good and see how much dirt comes out of it. continue until it runs clear. Try not to bend the coil fins with to high of pressure. If it was a high pressure problem, this will take care of it. Turn it back on and run it. Let me know if it continues please. Good Luck,

I would first check the condensate drain pipe. This can be done by blowing back into the drainpipe from outside. Not to worry it is not dirty or dangerous. Also make sure that your air filters are clean.

I am a repair man and have had this problem quite a few times, check that the remote is set to heat and 30 degrees.usually a symbol like the sun, very similar to cool easy to mix up.If the a/c is set to heat the indoor fan will not start till outdoor unit has heated coil.

I you already tried the power supply reset in the unit ("off" and "on" the supply) may be there something wrong with your thermistor, out of range thermistor can cause error display (flashing LED).Or running the unit with under charge refrigerant is also one of the cause. If the unit operates but no cool at all then that is the cause of error display. Please call a qualified technician to check your unit.
