Hi i have hp pavilion dv2010us my problem is my laptop is getting started normally but my desktop screen is blank i donno wat to do so please help me out of this problem

Try selecting a new desktop background....

Right click anywhere on your desktop and select "personalize" (Vista) or "properties" (XP)....to get a selection of desktop backgrounds.

...if this doesn't get a picture on your desktop you may have a problem with your graphics card.

Hp dv4000 screen turned pink now black

If its not the backlight inverter or cable. It will be the LCD screen itself. It seems the shop you took it to isn't really up on laptop repair, as this is a common issue I see often. Get on Ebay and find a screen for your model and replace it. I asure you this will fix your problem.

HP Pavilion dv9500t Vertical Line Issue

try connecting an external monitor to the unit. if you get the same or similar issues on the external monitor then you have a GPU issue on the motherboard. It will need to be REFLOWED or replaced. If you do not get the same issue on your external monitor, then you need to replace your LCD. Our shop replaces these LCDs for 140-180 so i imagine you should be able to find something similar in your area!

Good Luck!
