Was washing on bulky items cycle. When finished control locked button light was on.
Power shd be on. Press and hold "end of cycle" button for 3 seconds. Always wait for 2 minutes after the wash is over for the machine to release the door lock; an inbuilt safety device. Never force washer doors, you'll have probs.
Check out your filter too.

This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet washer however;
your washer needs a reset to resolve the control lock problem.
Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to reset
