-   My 2Wire 2701HG-B Gateway resets every time I inttend to enter the modem settings. I type the 192.168.1.254 direction in the explorer gap and it resets immediatelly. Some days ago it didn´t happen. Who can help me solve this problem? Thanks!-   Guest
If your gateway is constantly rebooting this is a sign of hardware failure and you should speak with your ISP about a possible replacement if it is still in warranty.
Well the prob ur facing is very straight forward... Am a 2wire tech and can tell u that ur modem is having a hardware issue. Contact ur ISP and get it replaced if still under warranty

I have the 2wire wireless gateway leftover from when I had At and T. It is the same model shown for sale at local stores. When I tried connecting it to use with my laptop, it states that it cannot run because setup has not been done. Is there a way I can use this instead of purchasing a new one?
