I have a 1776 Asko model & it doesn't finish its cycle-code mesage f-2 keeps appearing. Can you help me out.

Hi
F2 is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

My Asko Dishwasher D1976 on the main panel all of the top lights are on and in the display window it flashes F2. The motor is on but nothing else is happening can you help. I have checked that drains are...

Hi

Error F2 in asko dishwashers indicate high water level. This may happen due to plugged drain pump or due to faulty water inlet valve. To resolve the issue remove the back plate and check the drain pump. Disconnect the hoses from the drain pump and clear the lint from the hose and the pump area. Lot of water would be ther when you'll remove the hose from the pump, be ready to collect it. Let it dry and now the dishwasher will work perfectly now.

Hope it helps...

Asko washing machine won't drain.

Further on to this F3 problem I had the issue on model W6461. There is a short cut to the fix, instead of taking off the grey pipe from the drain pump (the hose clips are pre crimped in the factory so as stated above are difficult to remove) try this.
Stages as follows:
1) Open drain pump door (bottom left of machine).
2) Remove black pipe and drain residual water.
3) Unscrew coin trap and remove, use a container to hold the water.
4) Leave the container underneath and make sure you have some towels ready (I didn't at the time)
5) Where the washing machine drain hose connects to the outlet or U bend connector remove this and expose the end.
6) Blow into the drain hose as hard as possible......hopefully the blockage will clear through back the coin trap.

Result:
A large lump of sludge, three of my 5 year olds small counter coins and about a litre of water.

Just ran the machine now and fault cleared.

Good luck

Asko D3230 dishwasher pump will not turn off, with main switch on

This is a anti flood activation. It is a safety device (polystireen float and micro switch at the base of the washer) that keeps the drain motor running due to water leak / spill detection. Dry the water and rectify the leak (normaly pipe or clamp leak) and this should solve the problem.

Asko model 1776 that doesn't drain. We stored it for years and have installed it without any installation guides. It was from a construction auction and it had some mice living in it in the shed. I...

Remove the drain hose and make sure its clear. Inspect the pump outlet where the hose attaches and make sure itts clear. Usually insects build nests in the end of the hoses during storage. If this is not the problem, and it does spray water during the wash cycle, it is either the separate drain pump or the control board. test the drain pump to see if it has resisitance (unplug the unit first) if not it is bad. If the pump has resistance it may be seized. Last check the control board.

Dishwasher doesn't drain at end of cycle

The drain time is programmable. If your manual doesn't show how to do it, you can possibly go to retrevo.com and find a similar one. I happen to have a model 1776 and used the model 1755 manual which is identical.

My Asko 6461 washing machine - F3 code

F3 problem, I had the issue on model W6461, however, judging by the amount of F3 issues posted this could work on other ASKO models If the coin trap in the drain is clear of debris, try this. Stages as follows:
1) Open drain pump door (bottom left of machine).
2) Remove black pipe and drain residual water.
3) Unscrew coin trap and remove, use a container to hold the water.
4) Leave the container underneath and make sure you have some towels ready (I didn't at the time)
5) Where the washing machine drain hose connects to the outlet in the wall or U bend connector remove this and expose the end.
6) Blow into the drain hose as hard as possible......hopefully the blockage will clear back through the coin trap.
7) Pour some water into the open end and blow this back through the drain as well.

Result:
A large lump of sludge, three of my 5 year olds small counter coins and about a litre of water (all over the floor, don't forget the towels!)

Just ran the machine now and fault cleared.

ASKO Overfill protection tripped

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.
