Question about Dell Dimension 4600 PC Desktop

I have a dimenison 4600 that just beep and won't boot

My son tore the computer apart and when i put it back together i can not get it to boot up. the computer beeps once then beeps three times and then beeps twice. nothing shows up on the screen. he took the read write cd out of the system and replaced it with a cd player

Possibly a memory issue. Double check your memory is clipped in properly. If you have two sticks you should be able to run on just one to test and see if one is damaged.

Open it back up and check to make sure you didn't accidentally pull one of the cables out.

Plug the monitor into another computer to determine if the monitor is damaged or working properly. You can also plug another monitor into your computer to determine the same thing.

Something is not put back together correctly inside the dash. To trouble shoot this will be hard without ripping apart the dash and looking at the wiring. Even a pinched wire could cause this problem. That is why there are pros to do these things. Good Luck
