Question about Sharp AR-5320 Black and White Copier

1 Answer

Letters and numbers appear in the display

At the display, there is letter L blinking and then number 6 blinking. What does this display tells? Thank you. Please e-mail me your technical response to me at: thailee123@yahoo.com

Thank you. Similar to the L-6, but my printer is blinking L and 4? Is it the same, or does that indicate another part is malfunctioning?

Very simple question - which number is the serial number? Nothing appears to be indicated clearly to be it. There is a WIP ID number appearing to either start with IN or N followed by 13 numbers and 1...

Hi,

LG products usually have a 12 character serial number format, comprising mixed letters and numbers, e.g: 123ABCD45678.

If you can find a number on the manufacturers sticker consisting of, 3 numbers, then 4 letters, then another 5 numbers (as above), this will be the serial number.

Hope this helps.

BElectric

Have a close look at the numbers and letters with a magnifing glass. It is difficult to distinguish between 6 & G, 0 & O, 8 & B etc.
The 25 digit product code you have quoted could be for the Windows installation (the label states which product it is for) and won't work for MS Office. Is there another installation product code for Microsoft Office? It may be in your documentation.
Failing that you will need to contact Microsoft for a product installation code.

I have a brother 4100 fax. how do I change the information on the fax transmission page? thank you

If your date and time are not set yet, press Menu, then 1, then 2 and enter the date and time, pressing Set after each entry. Enter time in 24-hour format so it will display AM or PM properly.

For other info at the top of your fax transmission page after date and time, such as your fax and phone numbers, and company name:
Press Menu, then 1, then 3 for Station ID info.
First put in your fax number and press Set.
Next put in your phone number and press Set.
Next press the buttons for your company name and press Set.
Press Stop/Exit to return to the date and time display.

Here is info on inputting text, from the manual:
Entering Text
When you are setting certain functions, such as the Station ID, you may need to type text into the machine. Most keys on the dial pad have three or four letters rinted above them. The keys for 0, # and don’t have printed letters because they are used for special characters.
By pressing the appropriate number key repeatedly you can access the character you want.
Inserting Spaces

Making Corrections
If you entered a letter incorrectly and want to change it, press to move the cursor after the last correct letter. Then press Clear; all letters above and to the right of the cursor will be deleted. Re-enter the correct characters. Also, you can back up and type over incorrect letters.
