When is it freezing, when you view it? Is the picture saved in the internal memory or is it on an SD card?

Ok, can you plug the camera to a pc and try to move it to the pc, or try to delete it via the software.

You should format the memory card, while in the camera. Find the built in utility. If the format fails (try a couple times first) then get a new memory card. Possibly this will help the conectivity issue too, if not try looking in the Disk Management section (Right click My Computer, Choose Manage) See if the camera, connected to pc, is showing there without a drive letter. Right click on it and assignn it a drive letter. Hope this helps.

Try reformatting the memory device for the camera - there should be an option in the menus for format. This will remove all pictures and reinitialize the memory.

My camera keeps doing this as well. The only solution I have come up with is to turn the camera off after taking your photo and then pressing the 'play' button to view them. If you press to view after taking the photo it freezes and the only way to do anything is to pop out the battery to reset the camera. I don't know why it happens as my camera is only 8 months old and has never been used under water or dropped.

I see that there is a firmware update available for this camera; however, I do not see a description of the fixes provided by the update.

Whether or the update will fix your issue is unknown, but may be worth a try.

The firmware and directions on how to install it are available at the link below that you need to click:

Be sure to click on the "Learn how to update firmware" link on this site to understand the procedure.

Good Luck

File error/polaroid camera polaroid t1031

I have the same camera and that happens to mine sometimes. That happens when something wasn't right when you took the picture. If you press the delete button while it has the "file error" on the screen, it will delete the file and then you can continue use with your camera. Sometimes when this happens it freezes the camera so you have to turn it off and back on, then try deleting it. I hope this helps you!!
