I would start by disconnecting the radio and hooking it up right, the power should go through the ignition switch. So that when you turn the car off the radio will go off and to hear it on again you have to turn the key to accessory or start it.That might take care of a few of your problems.
i wired in a new cd deck witch is hooked up and works properly right but now the green light that lights up in my gadges on my dash when the lights are on at night dont light up pls how do i fix this problem thank you i have a 1984 d250 royel 88
simple thats because you must have forgot to plug the small adapter in the back of the deck that has a yellow and black wire coming from it. if you have then one of those two wires are not hooked up to the right place. and if that fails then either u have a bad connection somewhere in ur car wire or in the inside of ur deck. i had the same problem when i hooked up mine i just forgot to hook up that adapter because its really small
If you remove the unit from the dash the top, take off the top cover, no screws you can acess the CD slot. Remove the 4 screws holding the CD player in place and the ribbon cable and you should be able to remove the CD from the slot.
