Is there an electric interface on an old Sanyo TV model no. AVM2555? I took it apart and got it to work but it didn't work after I put the cabinet back together.

Check the connection sockets. If you haven't connected the flat cable, that connect to panel board is not in the proper way, this could happen. As you reported here, when you taken out the panel board out, and switched it ON, it has worked; means, the set have no other fault. Ask your father to check this. He can understand it. Check for any minute breaks in the PCB [ control panel] too.

Black spots on TV when watching sports etc that have white in the picture. The black spots are showing up on the ice for instance (Hockey) all over the TV.

I SUGGEST CLEANING THE LENS ASSEMBLY. IF YOU LOOK ON THE SIDE OF THE TV CABINET YOU WILL A SMALL SQUARE THAT IS ABOUT 4 INCHES BY 6 INCHES HELD IN WITH ONE SCREW IF YOU LOOSEN THAT SCREW YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE CABINET OF THE TV AND CLEAN THE LENS GOOD LUCK

How do you tune mogulation

To do it correctly you will need a Scope so that you can see when the Audio equals the RF Transmit power if it is Less it is not efficient. If it is more it is Over Modulating and splattering and not giving you intelligible transmitted signals. The best way is to get an old copy of the Radio Amateurs Handbook from the late 50s to the early 60s they have a circuit you can build to watch Modulation on an FR Carrier that will do exactly what you want.

TV picture and sound goes off--leaving a blinking green light showing as on (power). Several times in the last week I have shut the power strip off and then on again and the TV went back on with the solid...

If TV goes off and the led stays blinking, that is because the TV is going on protection.
Protection is a special diagnostic mode that starts when an internal fault has been detected.
If this happens erratically while you are watching TV, then parts that can commonly cause the problem are PSU board, main board or digital board, ballast board and converge board on DLP, inverter on LCD, low buffer and sustain boards on plasma.
