Have not solved the problem yet. Am thinking about getting call answering through my phone company which works through the phones, not an answering machine.

How do you delete all messages without having to delete each one separately.

New messages must be deleted one by one.
All old messages can be deleted in one shot. When the system isn't recording or playing, press and hold the ERASE button until it announces "Messages Erased."

How do I record a message on my VTech cordless phone (CS6114 DECT 6.0) for incoming calls?

The CS6114 isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected to your phone line, consult its documentation. If you subscribe to a voicemail system offered by your phone company, contact them for information and help.

Remote access, panasonic cordless phone and answering machine

I phoned in from another phone and retrieved my messages. The problem was not with the answering machine but with the phone and calling card I had been using. Don't use a hotel switch board nor calling card, too many intermediate parties for the 2 digit code to work with.
