Question about Alpine IVA-D310 Car DVD Player

How do i replace the rca outputs on alpine iva d310 brain box

The outputs on the pre in/out on my brain box no longer work, i bought the replacement part needed but i have no idea how to get the old piece out and i don't want to break anything, any suggestions. it looks like it shouldnt be too hard to put in, but when i took the brain apart i couldnt figure out how to get the piece out. what should i do?

hey guys, I was just surfing around looking for info because a customer asked if he could use the D310 brain I WAS SELLING for a D300, and I see you guys are in need of a brain, its a TRUE auction starting at 0.99 on ebay , maybe you can get it for less, since you offered 200$ for it ,

Alpine sub pre outs


i know people dont like doing it this way but when in doubt, splice wires.

go to walmart and buy a crossover, splice your front or rear door speaker wire and wire in the crossover and also the door speaker. plug your RCA cables in and run them back to the amp.

most people with stock decks do this if they dont have sub out or amp out.

The alpine website has two parts sellers you could contact. Also I have seen used ones for sale on many websites. One of which allegedly starts with an E.

I ran across the exact same thing as both of you guys and did a lot of research. I was told by someone very knowledgeable that you have to also change the small DC to DC power supply to match the D300. Its the small 3 inch by aroudn 2.5 inch silver box that is plugged into the back of the unit. Apparently after that it should work. I haven't got one to test with but if you do please post if it works. THanks
