Can I get a new Charging cable for this model or can I use another cable

I read this is a mouse that runs on batteries not a cable. The red light on my mouse keeps on blinking

Here's a guide;
What do the battery lights mean on my mouse? Some keyboard and mouse models feature a battery light that shows the current status of the batteries. The following table describes the different lights and states.
Light
Device Model Status Single long green blink Rechargeable Batteries are good. This occurs when batteries are first installed or every time that the device is turned on. Slow green blink Rechargeable Device is docked in the charging station and is charging properly. Steady green Rechargeable Device is docked in the charging station and does not need additional charging. Steady green Presenter Mouse (Japanese version) Laser pointer is on. Red/green blink Wireless Device is discoverable (trying to connect to the transceiver). Slow red blink Non-rechargeable Batteries are low and need to be replaced. Slow red blink Rechargeable Batteries are low and need recharging. Fast red blink Rechargeable Device is docked in the charging station, but there is a charging error.
Reasons for errors: The wrong type of battery is installed; the battery or batteries are missing; or the battery connection is bad.
Solutions: Make sure that the correct battery or batteries are installed, and are installed correctly. If necessary, remove the batteries, wipe them with a clean cloth, and reinsert them. Steady red Presenter Mouse (Standard version) Laser pointer is on.

Im having difficulty in charging my mouse -my stand is plugged in -i've cleaned the contacts -i've reset several times and it still doesnt charge

Verify with a tester that the cradle is supplying power. If it is, the mouse rechargeable battery might be gone; if it's one of the models with common NiMh AAAA ("pencil thin") batteries inside, you can even replace them by yourself.

How much take to charge complety the mouse

Mice usually don't use rechargeable batteries.
I would recommend you use a good quality alkaline battery.

Targus wireless mouse amw05 does not work, I put in new batteries and pushed button on mouse and receiver. Still nothing. Using Windows XP

The reciever is poorly designed. The green and/or white wires are probably broken on the inside.(pins 2 and 3)

Targus Wireless Laser Rechargeable Notebook Mouse problem

The mouse worked initially....have you tried doing a system restore back to a few weeks ago to see if that solves the problem..
With Vista and so many of it's incompatibility issue's...you maybe have downloaded something and it corrupted your software for that mouse...

Here is the url with vista drivers. Redownload the drivers and install...see if this helps
