There is only one adjuster screw in the back of the unit.most likely your problem is in the rotor.you need to take the back plate off then you should see 6 more screws on the metal plate.remove them to get to rotor.the air vains should drop to the bottem without any help.usualy they pick up moisture for the air from sitting.pull the out and soak them in lacquare thinner for a few minutes then wipe them off with a paper towel.install them one at a time and check to see if they drop or not,if they don't i use a piece of 280 grit sand paper and carefully sand the marks off them.don't get to carried away though.sand a little then try them.once you get them to drop by them self reinstall the cover and try to ignite the unit again.

Reddy heater won't stay going there are two screws on back what are they for. It's an older one think it's 1000 btu's

Those screws are: 1. the one with the hole in it is a relief valve to allow excess air to escape. 2. the solid plug is to be removed and a low pressure gauge inserted.

Then, you adjust the air pump pressure to factory specs. If not properly set the heater will not function properly.

Problem: Will not spray fuel through nozze. Lines are not clogged. Have cheecked spark plug. It is firing. Special note: It is Series 35,000 Reddy Heater.

You can try adjusting the pump pressures, but it does sound more like the pump went out on you. Have you checked to see that the shaft to the pump is turning? I am not sure how that mates up with the motor be it a set screw, or coupling, but would check it over the pumps are generally not an issue.
