Question about Samsung LE32R73BD 32 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
Samsung lcd LA40F8IBDX intermittently, picture seems to break up into vertical panels. each of these panels has streaks running horizontally. It i turn the tv off for a while and turn it on, then sometimes picture is fine again for an hour or so then streaks start again.
Replace the cable from the source. if the images tiles up it could be the cable and I suggest doing this first: replace the cables, they are the lowest cost to check, and in some cases the cable company will replace the length of cable from the TV to the wall for free (or part of your monthly payment). You could always make your own the stuff for that can be found on sites like www.compressionconnector.com of course you could always buy the cable if needed. I am assuming this is occuring during normal TV viewing. if it occurs while watching DVDs or from other sources you likely have a problem with your TV and may need to get it repaired.
