Question about Televison & Video
I own a Zinwell ZAT-970A digital to analog TV converter box. I use it successfully with a VCR that I own, and would now like to get a second, probably a Zinwell ZAT-950A this time, to use with a second VCR that I own. My concern is that they will not be far from each other, and I fear that everytime I use either remote to control its box, that it will change both boxes. I've tried calling Zinwell, can't reach anyone, and I've emailed them with no reply.
Be sure that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4 if you are using the RF cable or Video 1, etc if using the Audio/Video cable. The Installation Guide should appear. The "improved" picture that you are seeing is simply the analog throughput, not the digital conversion.

SOURCE: Remote codes for converter box
The only information i have found is that Philips codes might work , but I have the same problem needing the code for Magnavox TB100Mw9. Philips/Magnavox is the same company

RCA's site list codes 25 and 006 for Magnavox cable boxes. Maybe one of these will work for the converter. The RCA site has a link so you can look up codes. Click on "find your remote control codes here" and pick your model number, then the type of device you want to control. If the codes I gave don't work, maybe try some of the other brands of cable box codes. You might find one that will work.
