Its because the songs are set to shuffle every 10 seconds. Click on a song (any song will do) hit pause so it stops playing. Click on the gear icon at the top right of the screen. Scroll down the list to "Advanced" then make sure "Replay Interva" is set at 1. If it already is I would contact Visual Land Support witch can be found here: http://www.visual-land.com/support_form.html
Go into Menu, then Music, u will see an option to 'repeat'. That is what you need to select. It goes against logic but it is how I got mine to play more than the intro to my songs.
enter you menu and turn off review. Review plays 5 or 10 sec of every song on your player if its turned on. Trun it to normal and you should be ok....
Rate this solution if it helps.. Thank You...
Hey - I found a solution - once you begin to play a file hit 'menu' and you will see a variety of choices - if you have selected 'intro' - guess what? it will play only 10 seconds of the selection. You must change the setting to normal in this screen. You will be able to tell because there is a little red box with a letter in it in the display screen when a file is playing. If the letter is 'i' - you are in intro mode - I just fixed mine
hope this helps

It would help to have a manaufacturer/model number, but most likely you downloaded a sample version of the song rather than the entire song. Alternatively, you could have a music service that forces you to buy the song to play the entire thing. Change music services or double-check to make sure you are downloading the full verison.
WAHA i've fixed it it was on repeat intro which means it plays the first quarter of he song so pretty much try to look at the repeat button and see if it is on that.....
