Fault code F5 is a lid fault error. It could be one of many issues and generally will need a technician to fix it. The problem could as simple as the lid seal that seals the drawer being displaced or the actuator motors that bring the seal down being faulty. Turn the mains power off to the dishwasher and back on. This should bring the actuator motors to start position. If this does not fix it then check under the top housing for any signs of lid seal break. If it looks ok then you have to call technician to fix it. The fix involves taking the drawer out carefully without damaging the wiring and hoses underneath and checking the lid seal assembly underside of dishwasher housing.
I would not worry about the underside of the glass unless you are having problems. The focal length of the ccd that captures the image is very specific and probably will not pick up anything under the glass. It is normal for the underside to look foggy but it will not hurt anything.
Do you mean the the disc isnt spinning? 1st off check for a small black plastic post on the underside of the lid. It points down. it's towards the back. If that's not there, the disc brake stays on ie; disc wont spin.
2 Check for debris where the lid comes down into the 2 sensor switches . One near the power/reset switch and one at the left side rear. The switches are tiny and if they get junk in 'em , they wont work
You said the model is 77001?? is that the slim type ps2?? if it is try this troubleshooting step
if the console is lying down flat where the disc lid is at the right side, try applying pressure on the lower right corner of the lid, sometimes the lid's safety button gets worn out and it will give you disc read error if this solves the problem then the button really is busted, if you have technical background you try and change the button
Remove the two screws in the top of the console they will be in the rear left and right side or in the front corners then flip up the console and remove the 2 spring clips (brass)and the lid switch molex plug the cabniet will come off tilt forward and pull out you will see the lid switch running on the underside

You need to clean the reading head. When doing this you need to be very careful about static electricity. And never run the unit with anything more than the lid off.
First there are 3 screws on each side that take a side cover off.
Second there are 2 more screws that hold the lid on. Once the screws are removed lift the back of the lid first and tilt forward to clear the front switches.
Third; Remove the top of the DVD unit, to do this there are two screws and two tabs that hold the top on the DVD unit.
Fourth; To clean I used a vacum, but you can use canned air. But be very careful. These are very delicate parts.
Do not let the vacum touch any of the electronic parts. Do not do this with the unit plugged in. Before you test the Player put the top of the DVD unit back on. You can leave the main lid off at this point.
