do you have spark? is the plug wet from pulling it over? got the right fuel mix? turn the kill switch off, pull the plug, it will be easy to pull over, put your finger or thumb over the plug hole and pull it a few times, do you have compression? if not it may be the piston or rings-best to change both at the same time if your able. jacks small engine on the net is a good source for husky parts.

Probably need to re-adjust the carburetor jets. They are very small screws in the base of the carburetor. They will be labeled with an "H" and an "L" . Set the low speed first by turning it in slowly until the rpm drops slightly then start turning it outward untill the engine idles smoothly. At that point you can also adjust idle speed. Then you need to be careful here but you need to hold the throttle wide open at the same time adjusting the high speed jet. Turn it in until the rpm drops then slowly turn it out. The rpm will keep increasing. Once you get to a point where it is max'ed out then screw the jet back in one half a turn. Changes in altitude like using your chainsaw in town versus going to the mountains for firewood can sometimes make it necessary to adjust the fuel/air ratio.

Husqvarna viking sewing machine bobbin

Could the part number be 4011770? I've found the Viking 7 bobbins here: http://www.mysewingmachineparts.com/top-quality-metal-sewing-machine-bobbins-4011770-husqvarna-viking/ . Another site with them is http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bobbin-viking-4011770.aspx . This bobbin is compatible with the Husqvarna Viking 7, 49, 51, 52, 21 & 21E . It probably will work for other machines. Sears also has them listed as 11770: http://www.sears.com/generic-viking-sewing-machine-bobbins-sewing-machine/p-SPM6124767105?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 .

I also found these bobbins: http://www.amazon.com/Viking-Metal-Bobbins-5-pkg/dp/B000YZ5QSC . The part number appears to be 1702.

I hope this helps.

Husqvarna chainsaw repair

Usually empty fuel, use hook to pull out line , remove filter. Remove air filter cover and airfilter ,now you should be able to see line. Most just pull of carby and go through tank, some you may have to take screws out of av mounts in back of tank to see hole to put it back in.cheers hope this helps if where a stihl i could tell exactly.

My Husqvarna 142 chain saw, new out of the box, starts and runs well enough but left to idle it continually stalls. Any ideas?

The carb needs to be adjusted. Look for 2 adjustments label High(H) and Low(L). Low is the one that you want. Start you chainsaw and let it warm up and turn the L adjustment a until you are able to let it idle on its own. Hope this helps.

Chainsaw (Husqvarna 345e) will not start due to start attempt without adding oil to fuel.

If this was started without oil in fuel, then the piston is likely scored, and the compression rings stuck in a smeared aluminum mess. You can remove the muffler and probably see the damage to the piston. It can probably be repaired though. Take it to a reputible shop, then read the owners manual and get some help to learn how to safely use and maintain your investment that you have in this saw.
