More than likely the RCA cables need to be replaced. Torque, Serato, and all digital dj programs require a clear signal path coming from the source (turntable, cdj, etc). If it does not have a clear signal, or 1 side is louder than the other, it will not work.

You have to remember, these are analog turntables connecting to a digital system. The signal quality is different, and your RCA cables have to be prestine.

The following cables work very well for this type of configuration:

This could be a mechanical switch that is stuck in play mode. You might have to take the bottom off the deck to see what is happening inside.

Good day. It sounds to me like the belt is worn. Under the felt of the turning section, there should be two rather large holes. Insert your thumb and forefinger and pull the table off. You should also see where the existing belt is running. Insert new belt around the motor first and replace the table section. Now, through the two holes, manouver the belt onto the table section until it spins freely

Technics 1210's playing out of one speaker / channel

Have you considered the amp to be the problem? The amp has a magnetic cartridge pre-amp, which only the turntables would use, that can fail. It's often a single IC that has gone.

are you using the amputate mode? it's designed to for mixing two songs with one deck! also if you got it brand new check if you've got latest software update, i think its 1.5.2 or something now, i had sound distortion issues and the update sorted it. problem i have is that i can't get it to recognise my iphone 3g (maybe it's just ipod compatible)

Cant get sound out of speakers when connected to my ion usb turnt

Hi there,
How exactly have you got this equipment set up thanks ???
If you play another song on the computer from a cd original then what sort of output do you have???
Is the sound clear and complete???Bass Treble Mids etc

If the turn table has been set up properly the you will get a signal from the record deck to the computer and head phones too via the mixer.

Next is to check the way sound gets from the usb to the computer
Maybe the USB drivers are required for the computer before it will play correctly.
Try to uninstall then reboot and reinstall.Check again

If this doesnt work then try the make and model of the usb turntable and check to see if there is an updated driver for you computers type or brand or Operating System.ie - XP or Vista

Hope this helps ,let me know if you need more help,
