The "on" light on the front of my sony Vaio laptop continually flashes red when laptop is turned off

My question is the laptop turned all the way off when you go to shutdown do you click shutdown? Because it may show this light if the laptop is not turned all the way off. Also does it only do this when its plunged in? Some time there is a light to indicate the laptop is charging.

cheers best of luck

There's a batterie light flashing what does it

When you connect your laptop to a power source to charge it using a charger, the battery light will start to flash in RED color. It will turn to GREEN when your laptop is fully charged, so you can remove your charger from the power source.

Compaq nx6110 PC Laptops: When i turn it on the lights flashes then goes off...

Which light flashes? If it is the battery light then perhaps your battery is empty?
When plugged into your PSU does the power light turn on? If not your PSU may have broken or the plugs fuse may have blown.
Other potential causes could be your RAM, CPU or even your system board. Check the RAM is correctly seated, if two modules are installed try removing one.
Hope this helps, www.PuterCare.com

I have a laptop and there seems to be a light currently flashing orange along the front. Ive searched everywhere to find out whats happened but the laptop won't switch on at all. Its a toshiba Prestege...

The flashing light on the front of your laptop is a low battery warning. There probably isn't enough power in the battery to turn on the laptop. You need to plug in the ac power adaptor and let the battery charge until the battery light turns from 'orange', to 'green'.
