I put the c.d in and press play and no a f comes up what does that mean

When it says play dvd, it just randomly doesn't recognize that it's a game. Press A and you'll enter the game.
When it doesn't recognize the disc all together, I'd suggest cleaning the disc with an anti-static cloth then putting the disc back in.

If you have win 7 switch the pc on and at the same time press delete several times and a box comes up.press the down arrow until it comes to the cd drive click on this,press enter and save and exit f10.Now see if you can play the cd.If it plays fine if it doesn't try putting it in the other c drive (if you have two drives)Some of these cd's only work on the ROM drives or" Master" drive.You should 've had a piece of paper with the xbox that gives you a "command" prompt like,"set up.exe"

May be the settings is on headphones. Do this.Press Menu Go to settings and press Go to clicker and put it on 'both' by pressing the center.

it means tha the computer isnt able to put it on your MP3 or play it.

to start a turntable press Start button and put an arm with a needle across record, if there is no start button, just put arm across record - it should auto-start; to play cd put it in and press play (play button shoud be near the cd slot, together with stop, skip and others)

hold down the source button to turn off the unit (unit must be off)
now hold down the function button till it beeps once it has done this press the function button i think 3 or 4 times and you will get a message on your deck unit saying (aux - on,off) turn on and press the source button to turn the unit back on to the CD or radio now press source button2 or 3 times till Aux shows up (press means push it let it go) (hold means don't take your finger off button)

Since you have a MAC, your probably using ITUNES, ITUNES are MP4 format which this unit doesnt play, you have to make sure what your putting on is MP3 audio files:

Once you get the audio files converted, drag and drop on the drive from where they are saved on your computer.

To play the audio files:

hold the play button until red light comes on, then press Play again, light should blink which means its playing.

If you are trying to record vhs tapes to the dvr side, first you need to get 1x up to 8x DVD-R dvds. You can find them on ebay. The machine has problems recognizing the up to 16x type. Put the blank DVD in and let it load. Then start playing (not dubbing but playing) the videotape for at least 6-8 seconds. If you have somewhat of a lead-in on the videotape you can let it go even 10 seconds. Only after the videotape has been playing for this period of time, press the dubbing button. If the error code does come up, rewind the tape and start again, but in most cases the error code will not happen if you do it like this.
