My XBOX 360 will not turn on. The power bar has a green light but pressing the eject button or power button on the console will not turn it on. We have tried plugging it in to a different outlet but that...

Hi christoph52893,

If the Xbox 360 power supply light is green, this means the Xbox 360 power supply is ok and it is an issue with the console itself. You will need to contact Xbox 360 customer support to service your console. However, if you have a flashing orange or yellow light, it means that your console is fine but instead there is something wrong with your power supply. It indicates that it's not getting enough power.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Power supply light stays orange and wont turn on the XBOX PRO. HELP!

I hope this helps The power supply light is orange for one of the following reasons:
  • The console is turned off.
  • The power supply is not plugged into the console or the connection is not tight.
  • The power supply is not functioning properly.
Note An orange light usually indicates that the power supply is connected to electricity and ready to power the console. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should change from orange to green. If your console does not turn on, please see the following Knowledge Base articles: 907588 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907588/ ) Your original xbox 360 console will not turn on

My door will not stay shut to play a game what is wrong.my ps2 door was not opening so we thought we fixed it but now it wont stay shut . all lights are on just wont stay shut to even read/play any games...

the tray doesnt stay in. does your ps2 sit on its side where the tray is sideways, or is it straight up? i think you should try rotating it to a point where it should stay shut.

Xbox 360 is plugged in to a working out let it is not getting power at all. the power cord orange light is flickering is there a solution.

Before you try another power brick, if you are playing with a play and charge kit disconnect the cable, this happens with mine sometimes.
Have a look into the usb ports to the right of the console under the big flap,(this will be easier if you remove the faceplate) is there any damage or bent pins, this will short out your console so it will not turn on, just bend them back so they are not touching.
The orange light means that the power brick is in standby, but the flickering does indicate a short.
Remember thumbs up if this helps.

My xbox 360 won't turn on!!!

When it says ORANGE on the Power box, that means that the Power box is waiting for the console to be connected, You might wanna try another power box if you have a friend or relative nearby, and if another power box does the same thing, then you can call xbox support to check the warranty of your xbox 360, then send it in for repairs

FYI:
The light on the power supply should be GREEN in order for the console to turn on
