Or you talking about burning DVD or CD.

Do do a Google search on XP Burner this is a good software for FREE software for burner CD. For DVD, go to slysoft.com and get a free version of their software and see if you like it for 30 days.

I hope this helps. Please rate

DVD drive read/burn problem

From the description the new DVD driver is defective and should be returned if still under warranty. The only concern that I have is the replacement you got is identical to the original and that it is not a aftermarket product, because they don't have the same specifications as the original.

My cd writer is not working can nort burn the disk what should i do i have a dell d800

Your cdrom drive can read a data disc or play cd audio? Check if its CDR/CDRW not DVDR/DVDRW, buy a disk cleaner and play it on your cd/dvd drive. After that try to burn again.

setting in your DVD burner utility
look for options or advanced settings on the utility that burns the DVD or CD's i e nero or roxio etc.
Usually you can format a DVD CD burner to make it playable on all devices
ok?

My Matshita UJDA 750 DVD/CDRW wont recognize a blank DVD discs. How ever it does read both CDs and DVDs and only burns CDs.... please help

Are you trying to burn a dvd? If so from the spec you gave in the problem description your drive will burn cds(CDRW) but will only play dvds(DVD). If it stated DVDRW then you would be able to burn DVDs as in the CDRW.

Lettore cd/dvd acer aspire 5630

Ciao,

Ciao

DVD Burner will not burn

Read the front of your drive to see if you have a DVD-R or DVD-RW drive. A DVD-R will copy a DVD to your hard drive, but will not burn it. If you do have a DVD-RW drive, try a different brand of disc or a DVD-R disc, some drive are just temperamental.
