Despite what the owner's manual says, you should not open a microwave door when it's cooking. You should press the Pause or Stop pad first. Otherwise, you will shorten the life of your door switches.
If you're ever unable to pen the door, then you have a problem with the door latch, spring, etc. that needs to be investigted and corrected.

The unit may be out of plumb ( square to the floor ). I suggest you get a level and make sure the stove/oven is level and if it's not, there are some levelers ( where legs would be on the bottom ) that can be adjusted with needle nose pliers or a cresent wrench. If this doesn'e work, you may have some hinges sprung and need to replace them. Good Luck

Hi , the oven dorr needs ajustment , lose some attachement bolts ,then close the clearance will shut , so open gently and tightened the bolts.
Too bad someone didn't answer this sooner. Caused be poor air circulation in the unit. There is indeed a thermal fuse used in this unit. This problem has been around for a while and no real solution has been found. The closest "fix" is to remove the fuse, turn it around and only hook it down with the screw that faces the panel. The other screw hole is then bent to a 45 degree upward slant. This give the fuse a little breathing room.

is this model mounted over the oven as one piece unit?or does it hang above the stove?

When the bake igniter becomes weak or burns out, your oven would not bake. The bake igniter is usually mounted on the oven burner. It's about 1 inch by 4-8 inches (depending on the model), and comes in round or flat styles. If you don't see the igniter glow at all, it's probably burned out. Replace the igniter if found defective. Note: one of the exceptions could be that your oven is set to automatic mode instead of manual. If this is the case, set your oven to manual mode and check again.
If the bake igniter glows red and not bright yellow or white, it is probably because it is too weak. When this happens, the safety valve would not let the gas out into the oven burner. A weak igniter must be replaced.
A faulty igniter is probably the most common cause, however there are others:
-- defective thermostat
-- defective selector switch
-- defective gas safety valve
-- defective gas valve coils
