MP3 Player won't charge or turn on

I got the MP3 Player 4 days ago it was working for about an hour, then it showed the battery was dying. Then it shut off. Now I plug it into the computer with the USB cord that came with it and I tried every spot on my computer. I've left it there to charge for days and it has never turned back on. I never got to use it.

i have the same type of mp3 player, whenever i hit the power button to turn it on, a please charge pops up on the screen. But when i plug it into the usb port the battery symbol on the bottom right will look like it is charging than the screen turns black for a second than the symbol says full, so i unplug it and turn it on and it says please charge every time i plug it in,and take it out of the usb port.

Try charging it up on a different computer. It says in the instructions that they cannot guarantee the charging of the battery on personally assembled or modified computers. I had the same problem with mine on our independent computer shop bought PC, but it is charging up fine now that I've plugged it into my hubby's laptop which was bought in a PC supermarket. I hope this helps.

I just bought the eclipse cld and it won't turn on after charging for hours

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

I charged my 2GB SENSEI mp3 player for more than 4 hrs...but still its not working even for 10 to 15 mins......so wat is d time required for full charging....

Depending on the age of the mp3 player, the battery may be shot and you may need a new one. mp3 players tend to get heavy usage and the batteries can die and get burnt out quickly especially if they are not charged properly. Try draining the battery until it can no longer turn on. Then charge your battery for 6 hours. Good luck.

RCA M4304 mp3 player wont charge even when plugged in

As long as your computer can see the player, it is likely the firmware has gotten corruped.

First, connect your player and back up any important media items that are on it.

Next, download and run the firmware installer from the RCA website:

Brand new Samsung YP-K3 charging FOREVER..

well have had my k3 die on me once, pressed reset on the back and it worked again (this in the it doing nothing anymore case) as for the cgarging thing try it on another computer, when I charge my k3 at work it charges all day but I don';t get a full battery, at home I charge it for bout 2 to 4 hours to get full battery. I think it has something to do with ho many things u have connected to ur usb ports or how much output ur computer gives to ur usb, maybe it goes to like a lower voltage to preserve electricity, no idea how to change this but unplug unneccecary things.
