Might be empty paper tray or empty cardridge. If you are talking about laser printer; you might get maintenance warning if you refilled your toner wrong. For this case; empty toner and refill it with enough ink. (too much ink prevents toner shaft to move and causes error)
1 Press Menu until System Setup appears on the bottom line of the
display and press OK.
2 Press the scroll buttons until Maintenance appears and press OK.
3 Press the scroll buttons until CLR Empty MSG. appears and press
4 Select On and press OK.
5 Now the Toner Low Replace Toner message does not appear but
the Replace Toner message will remain for reminding you that the
new cartridge needs to be installed for quality.

I hope you renew the cartridges with original samsung product, you can try to remove the cardridge aggain then slide them in and bring the two clips on each site up. now disconnect the usb cable from the printer and switch of the power of the printer for about 3 minutes, now swich the power back on and connect the printer with your computer meanwhile the computer is ready with booting, now tyr it, if it is still the same problem deinstall the samsung drivers from your computer and reboot it after they are removed then install them new from your samsung CD.
in the printer menu, scroll to Special Pages and print a Config page, Menu Map and also the Test Pages. If these appear to print colour properly the problem may be in the driver. Check the quality tab in the preferences is not set to B/W. If the problem still appears to be with the printer after printing the internal pages then recheck after restarting the printer.
Hi The AP message indicates thet the dev is so low in toner that the machine has to go into a full cycle mode to get the toner levels up. The error code is telling you that one cycle is not enough. you will have to turn the copier off/on and cycle it at least one more time....more if neccessary
